Yet Another Lie

HHS released another 483 pages including a benefit notice expounding the wonders of Obamacare will be and how it will LOWER health insurance premiums.

Seems they have taken some interpretive liberties in order to spin their tale about how Obamacare will make health care (their words) affordable.
The 483-page Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2014 final rule (NBPP) (CMS-9964-F), to be published in the March 11 Federal Register, will reduce premiums in the individual market by 10 percent to 15 percent in 2014, according to a fact sheet issued by HHS.
Bloomberg

As reported by Bloomberg, the "risk adjustment program" is actually a reinsurance pool to help offset the losses incurred by health insurance carriers once they are prohibited from using medical underwriting to asses risk and premiums.

Reinsurance payments to carriers and the impact on health insurance premiums is nominal and cannot be evaluated until probably 2015.

To state that premiums will DROP 10 - 15% in 2014 due to the reinsurance pool is either totally misinformed or a bold faced lie.

And 483 pages? Can't these folks do anything in 25 words or less?
